Today, I'd like to discuss the similarities between two series I have watched: Love Like the Galaxy and When the Phone Rings . The interesting thing is that these two series come from different countries of origin, and their settings are also different, yet I find there are several similarities between them. Love Like the Galaxy is a Chinese historical drama, while When the Phone Rings is a South Korean series set in a modern-day context. Let's take a look at the similarities between these two series. Both series are adapted from novels. So, before watching the series, I already knew the entire main plot of the films, including the characters, events, and the twists. This did affect my viewing experience a bit, but if it weren't for the logically structured plot of the novel, I might not have watched the series at all.
