Exploring hidden corner: Cafe Amazon

Today I visited a coffee shop near my house called Cafe Amazon. This is a Thai coffee shop and located in Phu Dong intersection.

The cafe has three floors, and each floor has an outside balcony. The top floor does not have air conditioning. I think the rooftop and the balcony would be suitable for visiting at night when it is not too hot outside. Enjoying a refreshing drink while admiring the streets would be a wonderful experience. It helps me rejuvenate myself, eliminate negativity, feel peaceful, and recharge positive energy within myself.

I have tried two drinks, which are five-color flower tea and Tom Yum lemon tea.

Five-color flower tea is made from various types of flowers, while tom yum lemon tea has a unique flavor combining lemon tea and distinctive tom yum taste from Thailand.

In the cafe, there was an elderly couple, I guess around 60-70 years old, sitting and enjoying a refreshing cold drink. I didn't pay much attention to what they were drinking, but I hope that in the future, at their age, I can travel and explore new places together with my husband just like they are doing.

The capacity of each floor varies, the higher the floor, the larger the capacity.  The first floor can accommodate around 30 people. Each floor can accommodate an additional 5-6 people.

I sat on the first floor and the cafe didn't play music or if they did it was at a low volume so I could comfortably play my own playlist to listen to. The place is quite noisy because most people come there to chat and talk, so for someone who prefers a quite places to work or study I would not choose this cafe. However, if I want to chat with friends and have heart to heart conversations, this place with its beautiful location would be a consideration for me.

Our beloved summer

Our beloved summer is currently my healing spot. This show aired in 2021 on Saturdays and Sundays, and I watched it on Netflix. At that time, weekends were so special to me because of the show. First, when I ran to see the address at Alley 42 Ho Hao Hon Street, I ran a little further on the left-hand side and found the café. As I entered, I noticed that the outdoor space was quite small. So, I thought the interior space might not be much larger than what was shown in the clips that people reviewed on TikTok. When I went inside to order food, I found that the ground floor space was not too big, with tables and chairs placed close to each other. I was given a menu to choose from, but as I had just come in from the hot sun, I didn't pay attention and accidentally hit the wooden cover of the menu against my lip, which was quite painful and caused a salty taste on my lips, indicating that it might have caused bleeding.
