Where did I go on the weekend?
“Where did I go on the
weekend?"
There were a lot of things that I
did last Sunday. As scheduled, I had a class on Sunday morning, it was a deep
learning subject, and I could not understand it is difficult. On thing for
sure, I cannot pass and on hundred percent that I must retake this subject and
sit for the exam again in the next academic term. I don’t think that I am
pitiful or deserving of such circumstances. It’s just that I haven’t properly
managed my time. So, I must make more effort to achieve what I want. ☹
After finishing my studies, I
started writing a diary and brainstorming ideas for my own blog. 😊
Afterward, I visited my friend's new house,
which they recently moved to for the convenience of my friend and her child's
education. Yes, my friend is studying because she is a doctor and always needs
to further their skills. She also works at a clinic for about 1-2 days a week. The clinic is in a province, not in the city.
It has been a long time since she got married, and now I have a chance to talk
to her. She is now a mother to an adorable and mischievous 4-year-old-boy. Time
flies by so quickly, but here I am, still working and searching for my other
half, hoping that person will appear soon.
I have just searched for
“searching for my other half” on Chat GPT and this is its answer:
“"Searching for my other
half" is an expression often used to refer to the act of seeking a
romantic partner or soulmate. It implies the desire to find someone who
completes or complements oneself, someone with whom one can establish a deep
and meaningful connection. It signifies the longing to find a compatible and
loving partner to share life's joys and challenges with.”
We also talked about family
matters, husbands, and children. Even though I haven't gotten married yet, I
believe that if I choose the right person, my married life won't be filled with
constant internal battles.
It sounds ideal, doesn't it? But
it is indeed the right approach, isn't it?
After leaving my friend's house,
my older brother messaged me and invited me over to his place. He and my
sister-in-law cooked some delicious dishes for us to enjoy together.
I was a bit hesitant because it
was already 5 PM, and my brother's place was quite far. It would take me over
30 minutes to ride my motorbike there from my house. However, I was really
missing my niece, so despite the slight inconvenience, I decided to make the
effort and go.
I think my older brother and
sister-in-law have an ideal married life. They had been friends since middle
school, then started dating in college. After about 3 years of working, they
got married, and now they have a nearly 2-year-old daughter together. My
brother and sister-in-law rarely argue because they have similar lifestyles.
Although there are differences between them, they perfectly complement each other
like two puzzle pieces fitting together. They love and are willing to sacrifice
for each other. Whenever I visit their home, it's always filled with laughter.
My brother, sister-in-law, and I
had dinner together and spent most of the time talking about our extended
family. They could be my sister-in-law's siblings or my aunts and uncles.
My niece is sick, so she couldn’t
play around like she usually does. She has a cough and a runny nose, and she
seems uncomfortable, which also affects her appetite.
My sister-in-law is very
passionate about cooking. She can make a wide variety of dishes, and they are
quite delicious. When I was leaving, she even gave me two glasses of sweet soup
along with fresh spring rolls.
After returning home, I contemplate
and reflect on what has transpired throughout the day. I ponder about the
happiness of my family and seek someone who will accompany me on the journey
ahead, a companion who will share and understand, without criticism, judgment,
blame, or reproach. Someone with whom I can face challenges together, seeking
solutions rather than attributing fault. We will share, work together, and grow
side by side.
