The items I have purchased: KOBO e-reader.

I purchased a KOBO e-reader using my Visa card, and I should receive the device next week. I also bought a protective case to keep it safe.

The reason I bought an e-reader is because the universe sent me a message to get one. I was just kidding.

The truth is that I stumbled upon a TikTok video where a lady was reviewing an e-reader and its benefits. The advantages include its compact size, lightweight design, and the ability to store thousands of books. This is particularly suitable for book lovers who enjoy reading anytime, anywhere without the burden of carrying a stack of heavy books, especially during travels. While you can also read on other devices such as smartphones, tablets, and iPads, reading on those devices can strain your eyes more and be distracting due to notifications. Therefore, an e-reader proves to be a useful device.

And among the various e-readers, I chose KOBO because of its beautiful design, the ability to read PDF files, and its 32GB storage capacity, which provides ample space to store many books. Moreover, the price is reasonable when compared to others.

I am eagerly looking forward to receiving the e-reader and experiencing the joy of reading books anywhere without the need to carry a stack of paperbacks. I'm especially excited about the nighttime reading feature that won't strain my eyes. I'm currently downloading a few books onto the device, and apart from leisure reading, I plan to download educational materials to enhance my focus while studying.

One of the reasons I bought an e-reader is because my current living space doesn't allow me to have too many physical books. I still love the feeling of holding a book, smelling the pages, and writing notes on them, which an e-reader cannot replace. However, I will be more selective in purchasing physical books and only buy the ones I truly want to have.

Our beloved summer is currently my healing spot. This show aired in 2021 on Saturdays and Sundays, and I watched it on Netflix. At that time, weekends were so special to me because of the show. First, when I ran to see the address at Alley 42 Ho Hao Hon Street, I ran a little further on the left-hand side and found the café. As I entered, I noticed that the outdoor space was quite small. So, I thought the interior space might not be much larger than what was shown in the clips that people reviewed on TikTok. When I went inside to order food, I found that the ground floor space was not too big, with tables and chairs placed close to each other.
